10) Parvati Hill Temple
Parvati temple is a hillock in Pune, India. This hillock rises to 640m (2100 feet) above the sea level. At the top of the Hillock, the Parvati temple is situated which is the most beautiful location in Pune.
This temple was built during the rule of Peshwa dynasty. This Parvati hill temple is the oldest heritage structure in Pune.
The hill has 103 steps which is the path for top of the temple.
9) Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park
It is also known as the Rajiv Gandhi Zoo or Katraj Zoo. If you are interested in visiting zoological parks, then this park is for you. Here you can see different types of animals.
This zoo is spread over 130 acres and divided into three parts.
1) Animal
2) A snake park
3) Zoo
including 42 acres Katraj lake.
It was first opened on 14 March 1999.

8) Shivneri Fort
It is a 17th-century military fortification which is located near Junnar in Pune district in Maharashtra, India.Once you reach at the top, cold breeze welcomes you first and the view is amazing.
The main highlight of this fort is that it is the birth place of Great Maratha Warrior Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
7) Okayama Friendship Garden
It is one of the largest and the most beautiful garden located in Pune.
Most of you might be wondering that why Okayama? Actually this garden was inspired by a 300 year old Kōraku-en garden in Okayama.
This garden was built in 10 acres.
Garden is maintained well, and walking on lawn is not allowed.
The phase 2 of this garden is known as Mughal garden, it is the replica of Mughal garden in Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi.
It is also famous for photography location and film shootings.
6) Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Mandir
This temple is constructed by a famous Halwai (sweet maker) at that time. The Ganesh idol is 2.2 meters tall and 1 meter wide, and decorated with 40 kilos of gold.
In 2017, this temple celebrated 125 years of Ganpati.
5) Nation War Museum
Most people are interested in visiting war memorial.
National War Museum is a memorial in Pune, dedicated to the post independence war martyrs. This is the only memorial present in South Asia.
MiG-23 BN, which is used in Kargil war, is also on the display at the memorial.
The Pune Cantonment Board sanctioned a sum of Rs 32,00,000 ($47,550) for renovation of this great memorial.
4) Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum
Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum is in Pune, Maharashtra, India. It contains all the collection of Dr. Dinkar G. Kelkar (1896-1990), dedicated to the memory of his only son, Raja.
It is a three-storey building. There are ornaments made of ivory, silver and gold, musical instruments, war weapons and vessels.
3) Aga Khan Palace
This beautiful palace was built by Sultan Muhammed Shah Aga Khan III in Pune.
It is a majestic building. It is also a place where Kasturba Gandhi and Mahadev Desai died.
As this palace is very beautiful, it attracts photographers and film makers.
2) Sinhagad Fort
Sinhagad Fort is located 35 Kms Southwest of the city in Pune.
Some sources said that this fort could have been built 2000 years ago.
Caves and carving on the walls of the Kaundinyashwar stands as proof.

1) Shaniwar Wada
Shaniwar Wada is a historical fortification in Pune, built in 1732. It was under ruling of Peshwas of Maratha Empire until 1818. After that the British East India Company came in power.
The fort itself was largely destroyed in 1828, and reason is known. But the remaining structure is now maintained as a tourist site.
